It's called a Skybox.
See it being raised.
It oversees a strip.
The NYPD claims that sitting in a frikkin box high above ground they can see more potential criminals and actual crime via cameras on small TV screens than they could if, you know, they actually took their fat asses out onto the streets and walked a beat.
But maybe that's just me.
I doubt that.
