A few things immediately (I'm only on page six of it):
1) Google gets Serious, Very Serious, Geek Cred for having the comic book done by Scott McCloud. Damn, that is just genius.
2) McCloud's work is absolutely fantastic.
3) McCloud must have a spy camera on me:
