Blog Notes: Go Away. Scan In Progress.

Thinking about the hair-raising slowdown this PC has undergone, several things came to mind:

1) Microsoft shoved some unspecified (as usual!) updates onto it

2) Firefox did a 2.x upgrade on me

3) avast! has been blasting out updates sometimes 3x a day!

One of these might be the guilty party.

Be afraid!

Now I must wade in ...
