Say gas is $5/gallon. And you have a car that does 40mpg. To go the ~3,000 miles to California from NYC would take 75 gallons of gas (3k divided by 40). 75 x $5 = $375.00.
Is that right? What am I missing here? Seems low to me.
Never trust me with math. Especially when I use a calculator!
