Asus e900 Versus MSI Wind

That's what it looks like it'll get down to for me.

I don't see any negatives with the e900 aside from its keyboard.

For the MSI Wind, its weight and size could do it in:

hp Mini Note (2133) - source: hp specs
10.04″ x 6.5″ x 1.05″ - 2.8 lbs

MSI Wind - source: I4U News
10.23″ x 7.08″ x 0.748″ - 1.24″ -2.3 lbs (Linux), 2.6 lbs (XP)

Asus Eee (7xx)
8.86″ x 6.30″ x 0.79-1.26″ - 2.0 lbs

In all dimensions, the MSI Wind is larger than the hp Mini Note!

There's also murmurs of that Atom CPU not being better than the Celeron in the e900. If anything, the Celeron kicks the Atom's ass in computing performance.

What the MSI Wind has going for it is that 10" screen and better keyboard.

I'd really really have to fall in love with it in person to overlook the size, weight, and weaker CPU issues.

What about all of you out there?

By the way, Chippy over at UMPC Portal states:
The MSI-Wind continues to be the #1 most-viewed device on UMPCPortal.

It's brought a ton of traffic here too.

Update: More on the Atom vs Celeron issue. Plus, it seems Asus is rushing its own 10" screen to market too. The Asus EeePC 1000!
